The Dallas real estate market enjoys rapid growth, and there are more opportunities than ever for investors. Apartments and mixed-use properties are all the buzz in the metro, with many local and foreign property development and investment leaders zeroing in on favorable areas.

In the past year, Lantower Residential acquired over five acres of a mixed-use development situated on Mockingbird Lane by the Maple Avenue. A Dallas-based subsidiary of H&R REIT, a Canadian real estate investment trust, Lantower Residential bought the property from Mockingbird Venture Partners, a known West Love developer. The mixed-use development houses two hotels and a retail space. Its developer, JPI, plans to construct offices, shares Gene Bernshtam.

Still in Dallas, builder Wood Partners broke ground on a North Dallas rental community in 2019. The project can be found on the east of US Highway 75 by the Meadow Road. It sits right in the Midtown Park redevelopment. Located at 8107 Manderville Lane, the Alta Midtown Park development is set to have 307 units. The rental community aims to provide residents with top-notch amenities, all while being situated near Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and DART’s Walnut Hill commuter rail station.

Quadrant Investment Properties is set to complete a redevelopment in Oak Loan. According to Eugene Bernshtam, the property investor has been silently purchasing old commercial buildings and warehouses northwest of downtown since 2019. The former industrial area sees a rise in the demand for tenants. Quadrant Investment Properties is taking advantage of the rise by redeveloping old buildings into showrooms, offices, and restaurants.
